| Description | This collection comprises letters sent from the Jesuit Mission in Barbados, 1858-2000, and from the Mission in British Honduras, 1821-1897. Letters are mainly to the Fr Provincial or Fr George Sidgreaves SJ, and concern topics such as bills, sending new priests, and ordering supplies. There are also financial and spiritual accounts and records of the missions. The letters from Barbados include articles from The Bajan and Missionary Magazine on the history and culture of Barbados. The letters from British Honduras include some discussion of the languages of the country.
