Description	Correspondence relating to negotiations over the timing of the Jesuit withdrawal. Correspondents: Fr Copeland SJ [Rector], Fr Corrigan SJ [Provincial], Fr General [Pedro Arrupe SJ], Fr Watson SJ, Bishop Green [Bishop of Port Elizabeth], Anthony Scott-Parkin [chair of the Port Elizabeth branch of the Old Aidanite Association]. After announcing their withdrawal and transferring responsibility for the College to the Diocese of Port Elizabeth in 1966, the Jesuits agreed to continue to provide support for a further 10 years. This file contains a copy of the 1875 agreement and the curia copy of the 1966 agreement.
