Description
The Way Community lived at Southwell House in North London and included both Jesuits and lay people. The Way is also the name of the internal Jesuit journal founded in 1961.
Includes correspondence regarding:
- The future of the Way Community lifestyle.
-Concerns from the Superior General (Fr Pedro Arrupe SJ) on there being no Superior of the community.
- Moving The Way editorial office and inventory of furniture and equipment from Southwell House to Campion House, Osterley.
- Conversations on changing the name of The Way Community and aspects of their living arrangements at Southwell House.
- Summary of the Way Community meeting (28.9.1977).
- A report from Southwell House on Fr Copeland's new role as Coordinator of Retreats (1977) and it's relation to The Way Community.
