Description
A note book written to aid Law's mission to the Zambezi. It includes many practical matters, how to make yeast, to make sugar, salting meat, and make ginger beer. Also medical remedies, including cures for sore eyes, for tape worm, for bronchitis and asthma. There are several pages of latitude and longitude bearings and then pages of Zulu phrases and words. It is written in Law's handwriting except some of the medical remedies which were written by Fr Henry Depelchin SJ.
Physical Description
Very poor condition. The spine is almost entirely broken and many leaves are loose and brittle at the edges. There is evidence of insect damage.
