| Description | In the early 2000s, JVC undertook to support a group of people who wanted to live in Christian community but who were not able to commit to a year programme of voluntary work. From August 2001 until July 2002, JVC supported such a community in London; this closed in Summer 2002 due to a variety of reasons. Although JVC returned to the idea periodically, the initiative never progressed beyond this initial trial. JVC ran another associated community for students in Manchester in the early 2000s; the exact dates for this initiative are unknown. |
