Description	Contains letters on the new church, the appointment of Surveyor of the Parish, c.1867, donations toward the new proposed church at Ashford, land purchase. The final item in the packet appears to be a listing of 35 parishioners, + 61[?] overleaf. Also, a letter, 1850, from Stonehill, Upper Grosvenor Rd. marked 'Ashford' with mention of the Dowager Lady Tufton [?] and the 'old place' being inhabited by 'good Catholics'; Mission of Ashford and Calehill Scrutiny Paper for the Diocesan Synod, 1884-1890 with a total count of Catholics and a range of related statistics for the year; a similar sheet for 1872 and an Scrutiny Paper for 1859 Synod. Accompanying these are a sheet of 'Questions to be answered for the information of the Bishop'.
