Description	This Bible is one of those sent by Pope John Paul II to the Bishops of England and Wales on the occasion of the Sesquicentennial Anniversary of the Restoration of the Hierarchy on 29th September, 1850. Given to Bishop Howard Tripp at Westminster Cathedral on 4th May, 2000 by Cardinal Godfried Danneels, The Pope’s Special Envoy.” Also stuck inside the first page is an explanatory letter from the Vatican.
