Description	Photographs have been pasted into a St. John’s Seminary. Wonersh” exercise book. Inside the front cover McShea introduces the album, “A Collection of Photographs composed for the most part of photos dealing with years spent at St. John’s Seminary” Subject matter includes class groups [Rudiments, Rhetoric, Figures, Grammar and Poetry]; cricket, catte and hockey teams; Sports Day; picnics in the surrounding countryside, St. Leonard’s on Sea and Belgium; the bathing pond; Char-a-banc outside Worthing (Notre Dame Convent); performance of Midsummer Night’s Dream, 1924; family members. Named individuals: P Kehoe; Fr. J Byrne; J McKenna; Fr. Hubert Gibney; Charles Henry and Joseph Edward Tritschler [twins]; Gordon Albion; Fr Rector Louis Woodroffe; Fr. Redding; P Mullarkey; Fr. Dorman; Peter Amigo, Bishop of Southwark; Fr. Finnemore; Fr. Wall; Fr. Philip Hallett, Rector; Fr. Copsey; Richard Keast. 5 loose photographs, including photographs of McShea’s mother and the Professors Catte team, October 1923. Michael John McShea entered Wonersh in 1921, and was one of the first intake at the junior seminary at Mark Cross in 1924. He left Mark Cross in 1926.
