| Description | This postcard shows St Edward's Church on the Isle of Canna, set amidst stunning scenery; the church itself appears to consist of a traditional church building with a four-storey narrow building adjoining it which towers above the the lower church building; according to The Catholic Directory for Scotland for 2009, the church listed under Canna is St Columba's, which is served from Morar; [presumably, St Edward's Church no longer exists; the only reference in older Catholic Directories for Scotland to Canna indicates that it was served from St Donan's Church on Eigg]. |
