Description	This small informal photograph, or 'snap', which is slightly out of focus, shows Mgr John Barry standing in an outdoor location in conversation with a gentleman in a suit, with a 1950's style car behind them and trees and hills in the background; Mgr Barry was ordained in 1944 in Birmingham; in 1960 he was appointed Rector of Drygrange where he remained as Rector for 17 years; he was parish priest of Our Lady, Star of the Sea, North Berwick and died in North Berwick on 19th July 2003 in the 86th year of his age and the 60th year of his priesthood; full details of Mgr Barry's life can be found in his obituary on pp 532 to 534 of The Catholic Directory for Scotland for 2004.
