Description
In the mid-eighteenth century Mass was said at Calehill House, home of the Darell family, near Little Chart, in a chapel dedicated to St Joseph. A temporary chapel was erected in 1862 on Barrow Hill and a permanent church was opened on 22 August 1865. This was demolished in 1990 to make way for a new church which opened on 28 April 1991 (https://taking-stock.org.uk/building/ashford-st-teresa/).
