Description	Correspondence regarding evidence to be given to the General Post Office's Broadcasting Committee by the Westminster Catholic Federation regarding the BBC's treatment of controversial topics such as birth control. The Westminster Catholic Federation felt that the BBC had been partial and one-sided in their coverage of such matters, and had not allowed the Catholic viewpoint to be heard. The correspondence includes copies of letters sent by members of the public objecting to swearing, jazz music, adult themes not suitable for children and other issues relating to radio broadcasts, which were to be submitted to the GPO Broadcasting Committee. The file includes an annotated draft of the Royal Charter on Wireless Broadcasting, 1926
