'Holy Roodlets', a series of 3 newsletters produced by the church of Holy Rood, Watford, Hertfordshire between April-July 1939 [the May 1939 issue No 5 is not included] which mainly consisted of brief opinion pieces and anecdotes commenting on contentious contemporary issues such as birth control, or the political situation in Europe. The anonymous author criticised 'war-mongers' and advocated neutrality by the French and British governments, as well as commenting on Communism and the "Jewish problem".
