Description	Correspondence addressed to Peter Amigo, Bishop of Southwark, relating to the work of the Westminster Catholic Federation. This includes a campaign to remove material from history text books authorised by the London County Council for use in schools which were deemed to be historically incorrect, defamtory of Catholicism, or unduly biased. There is also a letter accompanying a published 'Statement Against the Matrimonial Causes Bill' prior to its Second Reading in February 1934. The Bill extended the grounds for divorce and the Act was duly passed in 1937.
