Illustrated journal of St Edmund's College, Ware. Vol XXVI, Nos 176-179.
Issue 176 includes a photograph and description of the funeral for Mgr Canon George Smith and a tribute to Dr Nicholas 'Nick' Kelly, who left the College to take up an appointment as Priest-in-Charge of Welwyn Garden City. There are articles on Old Hall Green Academy, a precursor to St Edmund's College, and on the celebration of St Edmund's Day 1960, including the sermon preached by Mgr Charles Grant. There are obituaries for John William Arthur Ollard, Fr Gilbert Ellis, William Hazel, Fr William Arendzen and Fr Maurice McGowan. There is a review of a performance of 'Moment of Truth' by Peter Ustinov.
Issue 177 details the blessing of the new Godfrey Wing of St Hugh's, together with photographs of the new building. It includes the sixth in a series of articles on the College Chapel, focusing on the Galilee and the Scholefield Chantry. There is a tribute to Thomas Flynn, Bishop of Lancaster, together with a photograph, and a description of a pilgrimage to Lourdes at Easter 1961. There are obituaries for the Very Rev Canon Joseph Whitfield and the Very Rev Canon Gerald Lionel Smith.
Issue 178 describes the demolition of the old cottage knows as 'The Ship' which dated back to the earliest days of the College and an article on the celebration of St Edmund's Day 1961, including the sermon preached by Fr Laurence Allan. There is an illustrated review of a performance of 'Antigone' by Jean Anouilh, and obituaries for Mgr Canon William J Wood and Vincent Weeks.
Issue 179 mentions the televised opening of the Second Vatican Council watched by the whole College and includes obituaries for Fr William J Foley, Fr William J Dillon Doyle, Fr William A Joyce and Fr Charles Carless.
