Bourne can be seen standing on the balcony to the right of the flagpole. Large crowds can be seen standing outside the building while mounted police officers are visible in the middleground. The captions on the reverse side of the image read 'Cardinal Bourne, Archbishop of Westminster, celebrates the jubilee of his ordination by attending high mass at Westminster Cathedral, London.'
