Four full length photographs showing Archbishop[Cardinal] Bernard Griffin in various vestments posing next to the statute of St Therese in the courtyard of the Carmel at Lisieux.

Four full length photographs showing the Archbishop posing in the same place with various unidentified religious dignitaries.

One postcard showing the entry of a British armoured formation [11th Armoured Division ?] into Lisieux, Calvados [presumably in late July or early August 1944]. The armoured column is made up of Cromwell and Sherman Firefly tanks with attendant General Purpose [GP-'Jeep'] utility vehicles. The Basilica of Lisieux is in the background of the photograph.

[All photographs and postcards formed part of packages sent by Mother Agnes of Jesus -Sister of St Therese of Lisieux- to Archbishop Bernard Griffin. The packages also held letters, prayer cards and souvenirs. See seperate entries for each type of item]
