| Description | The Cardinal has entrusted the Deans of the Diocese with the pastoral care of the priests in their deaneries. In discussion with the Deans, who meet together as a body three times each year and in smaller groups with the Archbishop’s Council, the Cardinal is aware of the concerns of the priests, pastoral initiatives and needs; while the Deans promote an understanding of diocesan policy in the parishes and assist in the implementation of the vision of the diocese for the future
