Cathedral Life: Past and Present-
'A Mini-Guide to the Cathedral' by Patrick Rogers. An article in which Rogers discusses the highlights of the Cathedral building.
'Monthly Album: Wiseman and Manning. A short article about the Feast of St Columba which was celebrated on the 9 June 2015. The event included a Mass for the repose of the souls of Cardinals Wiseman and Manning which was offered by Cardinal Vincent Nichols. The event also marked the 150th anniversary of the death of Cardinal Wiseman and the consecration of Henry Manning as the second Archbishop of Westminster. Fr Nicholas Schofield preached the sermon in which he spoke about the lives and legacy of both men.
'Cathedral History- Photographic Record of Vaughan Williams - 23 March 1923' An article and photograph which depicts Ralph Vaughan Williams, Richard Runciman Terry and the Westminster Cathedral Choir. The image was taken on 12 March 1923 after the first liturgical performance of Vaughan Williams' Mass in G minor. This short article is about the piece of music , the composer and Vaughan Williams' use of the music.
'Reflection: The Blood of the Martyrs' by Stan Metheny. An article about martyrs and blood as a symbol of power, love and life.
'Lourdes: St Bernadette and the Cross' by Fr Brian de Burca. An article in which the author discusses the place of the Cross in the life of St Bernadette and the French shrine.
'From Stone to Silver: The Cathedral Eagles' by Christina White. An article about the stone eagles which adorn the Cathedral tower and the solid silver eagle inspired jewellery pieces which were handmade by jewellers J&C Martin.
'St Benedict's Rule in a Secular World: Simplicity, Silence and Solidarity' by Donato Tallo. An article about how St Benedict's Rule was originally devised for Benedictine nuns and monks and how many aspects of the rule are applicable to our daily lives.
'The Year of Consecrated Life: Daughters of the Cross of Liege' by Sr Vernonica Hagen Fc. An article about the founding of the Daughters of the Cross of Liege, Belgium, in 1833 and the work of the Sisters.
'Catholic Music for a Protestant Nation: William Byrd's part in reviving Catholicism; by John Milsom. An article which provides an insight into the role of the Masses of 16th century Catholic composer, William Byrd.
