'Cardinal Ritter-God's Faithful Knight (Part 1)' by Fr Michael Marchlewski, SJ. An article about the life of American Cardinal, Joseph, Elmer Ritter who hailed from New Albany, Indiana.
'Will Syria Know Peace on Earth?' by John Newton. An article about the head of the Melkite Church, His Beatitude Patriach Gregorios, who was invited to the UK by Aid to the Church in Need (ACN). During his visit he spoke about the Jews from Syria and how they were present in Jerusalem for Pentecost and had brought Christianity back with them. He also explained that it was in Antioch, then Syria, that believers were first referred to as Christians.
