Cathedral Life: Past and Present
Cathedral History in Pictures: 'Mass via Eurovision' by Paul Tobin. A black and black and white image entitled 'Televised Pontifical High Masss for Whit Sunday, Sunday 17 May 1964 and an article about the live transmission of the Pontifical High Mass for Whit Sunday from the Cathedral. This was the first time that a Mass such as this was transmitted throughout Europe by Eurovision. The image features celebrant Archbishop John Carmel Heenan preaching from the throne to the left of the sanctuary.
'Exploring the Quarries: Cork' by Patrick Rogers. An article about the mottled red marble which decorates various parts of the Cathedral, and Baneshane quarry in County Cork where the marble is quarried.
'Fr Herbert Collins: A Priest Victim of the Great War' by Fr Nicholas Schofield . An account of the life and death of Fr Herbert (Bertie) Collins, in April 1917.
Homily: In Honour of Modern Martyrs by Pope Francis.
