Description	The contents of this file largely consist of correspondence between the priests of St Mary of Angels, Fr J. Riordan and Fr William St.Lawrence, and the Town Clerk at Paddington Town Hall; James D. Scanlan, Secretary at Spanish Place Presbytery; and other agencies. Much of the correspondence relates to the replacement of Kensal Green Cemetery with New Hendon (Mill Hill) Cemetery and the proposed consecration of a portion of the land specifically for the interment of Roman Catholics. The file also includes maps and routes to the proposed new cemetry; an extract from the meeting minutes of the Cemetery Committee; a report of the Cemetery Committee which includes details of grave spaces, purchase costs associated with burial rights, interment and clergy fee, etc.; an extract from the Burial Act, 1900; and rough notes and calculations.
