DescriptionCorrespondence primarily with clergy and religious in the parish, including the Daughters of Providence and the Sisters of Charity, as well as groups such as St Monica's Scout Group. The file includes a copy of Pastoral Paper No 1, a confidential note to members of St Monica's Parish Council on ways to encourage the development of the parish as a family [1978], There are also minutes for the St Monica's Parish Council meeting in November 1977, and a copy of the Constitution of St Monica's Parish Council, together with a list of Council members and representative organisations, and the agenda and reports submitted to the Parish Council AGM in November 1978. The meetings included reports on the Intimate Theatre, the Youth Club, St Monica's Players, the Welfare Committee, Ecumenism, the Catholic Women's League, the Wives' Club, Guides and Scouts, and the Senior Club. There is correspondence relating to the boundary changes between the parishes of Palmers Green and New Southgate, as well as a couple of parish newsletters and annual financial statements, and a programme for an all night vigil held in May 1982 round the sudy of the Sacraments.
