Description	A booklet produced in tribute to Canon John Leonard Wright, who was parish priest of Poplar from 1946-1970. Those who contributed to the tributes were Sister Patricia (Daughters of Charity), Rev Denis Watters, Fr George Stack, Rev Peter Latham, Fr Laurence Allan, Fr George Haines and Fr Harry Turner. The booklet includes the homily given by Fr Gerard Burke at the Canon's Requiem Mass on 27 September 1979. There is also a short history of the parish by Fr Laurence Allan and Fr William McConalogue with a list of priests born in Poplar, parish priests, and assistant priests. There is an additional photocopy version of this short history added to the booklet.
