Description
A colour photograph of what appears to be a pilgrimage, possibly to Our Lady of Walsingham. The image features a long procession of men and women, including a nun, proceeding along a country lane. A processional banner is visible in the background to the left of the image. The reverse side of the image reads 'Copyright Photo K. Faircloth Walsingham' Kenneth Faircloth ( 1926-2004) was the village photographer in Walsingham who took photographs specifically for the purposes of the Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham. Faircloth was well known by pilgrims for providing them with pictures of themselves during the saturday night processions.
