Correspondence centres round the fire that destroyed the church in June 1973 and the construction of a new church on the site. This includes the contract with the builders, Lanner Ltd of Wakefield, and a copy of the order of service for the Opening & Blessing of the Re-built Church of Mary Immaculate and St Gregory the Great on January 30th 1976. There is also correspondence regarding the construction of a new parish hall in the 1970-1980s as well as annual accounts for expenditure and income during this period and discussion with the Fincnance Committee of the parish, headed by Tom Lloyd, on the Diocesan Levy.
