Description	A parish history published to mark the Solemn Opening of the new church of St Joan of Arc by His Eminence Cardinal Godfrey, Archbishop of Westminster on Sunday, September 23rd, 1962, at 11.00am. The book is illustrated with black and white photographs of the clergy who served the parish, the builders, craftsmen and architects who created the new church, and exterior views of both the old and the new church. There are individual articles about different aspects of the new church building, as well as detailed descriptions of the materials used, measurements and building methods.There is a list of all the stained glass windows in the new church, and a list of all the firms who worked on the church's construction at the end of the book. The church was designed by Walters & Kerr Bate, LRIBA. 24pp
