Description
A published letter, signed by Catholic clergy of the City of Dublin, giving their objections to specific clauses in the proposed Oath of Allegiance, together with a covering note from John Thomas Troy, Archbishop of Dublin, in response to a request from "Some Persons of Rank in England" to give their opinion on the Oath. The copy of this letter appears to bave been sent to Bishop John Geddes,Coadjutor Vicar Apostolic of the Lowland District, Scotland, based in Edinburgh.
