Description	Includes correspondence with Chartered Surveyors A.W. Scott-Harden regarding purchasing a plot of land (1978) with plans and air view maps of the potential purchase area, correspondence on purchasing land for the proposed building of Rainhill High School, rooms to be decorated, repairs of boundary walls at Chapel Lane, fencing repairs, land to be sold to nearby Chapelhouse Farm, applying for planning applications, a fire alarm report, and plans of alterations to lecture rooms. The plans are attached to their respective letters. Also includes a 1985 plan of the chapel (built 1966) with respective documentation on creating a prayer room. Includes a photocopy of 'Plans and Elevations of Rainhill House, The property of The Honourable Mary Stapleton Bretherton' (see LH/21 for the original 1870 document). Correspondents include Fr Brian Wall SJ, Fr Walsh SJ, Fr Terence Corrigan SJ, Fr Michael Kyne SJ, and Fr Peter Montgomery SJ.
