Description	Papers relating to deeds of covenant, a contract for an individual to donate to a charity over a period of 6 or more years as a tax break. Beaumont explored this as a method to save parents money by making their school fee payments through a covenant and thus reducing tax burdens, but in the end the school was unable to claim the tax break and thus lost considerable income, contributing to the financial issues which led to its closure. Includes correspondence, explanatory memoranda, minutes of the association of governing bodies of public schools AGMs, and other related material.
