DescriptionFiles of letters, some undated, written from both individuals and institutions and relating to Blind Crusade matters. Correspondence has been kept in the original order or arranged according to the dates written on the top of letters by Fr Hannan. Some are notes and leaflets with braille instructions and there is also a list of retreats from Harborne Hall from 1935 and 1936.

Many of the handwritten letters are from the secretaries of the Blind Crusade, including: Agatha Gaisford, Winifred Bland, Libele Vansillart, Margaret Smyth and Barbara Reynolds.

Other writers of letters include: Henry J Wessling SJ and Joseph Stadelman SJ, Paul Leonard SJ, Leonard Boase SJ, Mike Hannan SJ, Robert Mills SJ, LW Geddes SJ, and Arthur Kavanagh SJ. One of the letters contains a description of the Blind Crusade. Some of the correspondance from the 1960's relates to the founding of the Catholic Assocation for the blind.

All correspondence is in English with a few letters in French.
