The file contains a covering letter dated 1 October 1983 to Fr Francis Edwards SJ, the then Archivist of the Province, offering a copy of an annotated typed script of his time in Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe), setting up a Jesuit mission, covering period up to 1959. In the typescript Driefontein Mission, Chivese School, Shearly Cripps, Enkeldoorn, Mweyahari River and Mutunha are mentioned and there are references to August Laws SJ, epecially to Law's diary. A newspaper clipping reviewing 'God's irregular: Arthur Shearly Cripps' by Douglas B Steere is included as well as some black and white photographs and a list of what has been achieved through donations received including the marriage of these eight couples shown in the photos.
