Description	A book containing letters written by Law and some addressed to him. The letters were collected and pasted into the book by his father, William Towry Law, before he published a three volume account of his son's life. This volume covers the period Law was at school and then started in the Navy on HMS Carysfort. William Towry Law has written in the front his reasons for collecting the letters together, dated 18 July 1881.
