Description | A volume with letters pasted in. The letters concern Law and are primarily from him to his father William Towry Law, or from his father to him. There are also letters to and from Law and other family members including his siblings and step mother, Matilda, and letters giving an account of his behaviour and character on board HMS Carysfort from the Chaplain, William Onslow. The letters were collected and pasted in the book by William Towry Law after Law's death in 1880. There is a note pasted on the front cover in William Towry Law's handwriting. |
