| Description | On the first page of the diary there is a printed illustration of various German leaders. There are several postcards and black and white photographs such as one of the HMT Royal George ship and a 1918 photograph of Fr Garrold slipped into the middle of the diary. There are also some photographs of his travels cut into the diary. The writings describe his time at sea on the HS Syra, and in places such as Karachi, Bombay, Poona, Kurseone, Calcutta, Agra etc. |
