This file is made up for the most part of typescript and handwritten writings by Fr Devas: 'Jottings on the practice of Frequent Communion', 'Comfort in Sorrow', 'Soldiers' Anthology', 'The Holy Child', 'Two Englands', 'Considerations on the Goodness of God', 'Is it nothing to you all ye tha pass by', 'An essay on Catholicism in the 20th Century', and an untitled story. It also includes a picture cut from the Herts Advertiser & St Albans Times showing Fr Devas at the Catholic procession at Radlett; certificates; lists of dates for meetings of the Sodality of the Children of Mary; letter of condolence from Buckingham Palace; an essay by Dr Paul Kwang-tsien Sih on becoming Catholic; a letter from E M Cox of the Arts Club in Mayfair regarding a copy of a Napoleonic document; 'Converts' Aid Society' pamphlet by Rev. Bernard Grimley; Fr Paul Jadoul memorial card; Jules Jadoul memorial card; a sketch of Fr Devas signed George Long; notes on types of character; a handwritten poem, auhor unknown, called 'A Parody (with apologies to F.C.D.); photograph, possibly Fr Devas, as a young man at the beach; notes on a pilgrimage, 11-26 June 1909.
