DescriptionCorrespondence concerning finance, 1918; a letter to Bishop Amigo re: Nurses at St. Guy's, 1917, from a 'father of one of the nurses', where the nurses, in hearing Mass on Sundays, must obtain special permission to leave the hospital at 5:30, walk to the Convent in St. George's Road for 6 o'clock Mass, walk back, change, have breakfast and go on duty at 8 o'clock - in bad weather, highly difficult. One solution would be an earlier Mass at a church nearer to the hospital; an update on confirmations and call to have a Convent of Nuns locally so that people could be instructed in their homes, 1916; Letter in 1914 expressing the success of the Mission, and having an increased number of attendants; correspondence from the Presbytery at Melior St., instructing the recipient on the state of his health; 1909 letter and License for building over Sewer in Bermondsey - Agreement from the Town Clerk of the Bermondsey Borough Council on erecting a classroom - Peter Amigo; 1908 letter from Evans to Bishop relating the state of some starving children; a letter on debt, Fr Buckley, 1907;

Fr Mother enclosed the letter as she was 'more than surprised at his treatment of the sisters'; this letter as referenced, on 26.03.1891 from Fr Buckley to Sister Superior stating his inability to continue the funding of £130 annually for the services of the two teaching sisters, thus asks for their withdrawal; 'Extract from the Returns of the Mission of Melior St. viz Visitation Returns' - opened by Bishop Grant 02.05.1861, dedicated to Out Lady of La Selette and St. Joseph - the other alter Bl. Benedictine Joseph's was consecrated on 12.05.1862; letter from 1860 to Dear Lord from [Child Sister Daniel?] discussing Mr. Bagshawe, Mr. Grainger and the nephew's insurance, the insurance of Webb St. Chapel, then hospitalisation, homeopathic and hydropathic systems.
