| Description | In the mid-eighteenth century Mass was said at Calehill House, home of the Darell family, near Little Chart, in a chapel dedicated to St Joseph. A temporary chapel was erected in 1862 on Barrow Hill and a permanent church was opened on 22 August 1865.
