Description | The Inter-Diocesan Seminaries Committee was set up in 1968, on the initiative of seminary students. It was a forum in which the students from the major diocesan seminaries come together in order to exchange ideas and experiences related to seminary life and formation for the Priesthood.
In 1984, the Committee was disbanded and was replaced a couple of years later by the Diocesan Students' Forum which was "A National Communications Network between the Diocesan Seminaries of England and Wales which seeks to foster links between seminarians and the various bodies for priestly formation". There were two representatives from each seminary. |
