Description
Sixteen letters in Italian.
Fr Ernest Moodie was a professor at the Seminary, 1905-1908. He went on to become a Vatican diplomat and was fluent in Italian. Targetti was a friend of Moodie and he used to stay with the family each year for a holiday. The letter dated 21 December 1933 includes Targetti's thoughts on Mussolini and war.
Also includes a notebook with Moodie's notes on Homer's 'Odyssey'.
