DescriptionThe Centre was founded by Cardinal Griffin, Archbishop of Westminster in 1955, as a training centre to teach communication on radio and television and the use of modern broadcasting equipment.. It is situated in Hatch End, Middlesex (now London Borough of Harrow). It reached the end of a considerable period of redevelopment in 1968 and then comprised a large residence, a hostel for students and visitors, a large television studio, a sound studio, a chapel, lecture rooms and various technical and administrative offices. It was the headquarters for the entire Catholic radio and TV movement in Great Britain.

One of the key figures at the Centre was Bishop Agnellus Andrew (1908–87).

The Centre closed in 1990.
