Description | The documents comprise a set of beautifully illustrated concert and play programmes designed by Edward Bulley (Wonersh 1928), 1923-1936; two accompanying letters from Bulley explaining how the programmes were produced, 1983. One of the letters has the following explanation:
'In case anyone is interested in the byways, so to speak, of the seminary's history, let me explain that at that time the stage properties, costumes, & general etceteras were done by the original snarks: Dan Buckley, Na Poo (E. G. Rodley) & myself. The covers you now see were designed by me; the lino was cut by Na Poo, & the printing was done by Cyril Plummer. The Musical Director was Bernard Cahill, & John Valentine Vapoutes the playwright was none other than the late Archbishop'.
