Includes a postcard photograph by Peter O'Brien showing the Seminary Chapel with planes on their way to the Battle of Britain above; observation tower on seminary roof; Fr Phillip Hallett (taken in 1924 when he left Walworth to become Rector of the seminary); the seminary war memorial; V E Day.
Photograph of the fire brigade with individuals named as follows: M Curtin, Flavin, Morris, Pledger, Sansom, McSheehy, Mummery, Nolan, Petry, Glover, Connelly, Pierce, J J Curtin, Fawssett, Murphy.
Also includes a description of the seminary fire brigade which operated during World War II under the command of Fr. Curtin; extracts from the Dean's diary describing the arrival of Fr. Hallett at the seminary.
