Description	Leighton House School was established in 1942. After the death of the headmaster and founder in 1955, the Archdiocese of Birmingham agreed to take over the school and look for a suitable headmaster. By 1956 Brother Kenneth, the Provincial, had agreed to send Brother Brendan to take over the role of headmaster.
