Description
The Marist Brothers arrived in Birmingham in 1937. They occupied a house on Edmund Road which they named St Therese and taught in the Rosary School and Leighton House School. They were also in negotiations to take over a new grammar school entitled Erdington Roman Catholic Secondary School. The Brothers withdrew from Birmingham in 1970. Contains: General papers relating to Marist Brothers in Birmingham; St Therese house; The Rosary Roman Catholic Modern School; Leighton House School; Erdington Roman Catholic Secondary School
