DescriptionThe Marist Brothers opened the first community in Bamenda, Cameroon, in January 1965. They worked in Sacred Heart College, Mankon, and later in the 1970s opened up formation houses in St Augustine and Tatum, working with local schools in these areas too. During a time in the 1970s some Brothers also worked at St Anthony's School in Nijinikom. By 2000, all British Marist Brothers had withdrawn from Cameroon.
