Description	The Marist Brothers were first contacted in the 1950s by the Archbishop of Nairobi and Bishop of Kisumu to seek out the potential for Brothers to come and teach in Kenya. Links between Kenya and the Marist Brothers in Britain and Ireland were established firmly in 1986 with the opening of the Marist International Centre in Nairobi.
