Description	Brother John Parker was heavily involved in Adult Religious Education in Glasgow, teaching courses at the University of Glasgow Department of Adult and Continuing Education. He was also involved in Action of Churches Together in Scotland's Commission on Mission, Evangelism and Education, within the Section on Education he participated as a Vice Convener on the Planning Committee and as a member of the Planning Committee for the Scottish Churches Open College (Adult Religious Education) group. In January 1991 he became Director of the Catechumenate in the Archdiocese of Glasgow.
