Description
This postcard shows the interior of St Ninian's Church in Tynet, which was built in 1755; it is annotated on the back with the following: "Interior of Tynet Church, the famous 'Sheep-cot' chapel of Persecution Days, served frequently by Bishop Hay; the photograph shows a close-up view of the pews and altar area, with several candles lit on the altar.
