Description | This postcard shows the Chapel House at Whitebridge, Stratherrick, a two-storey building with a single-storey whitewashed building attached; the postcard has a 24p stamp and has been franked in Inverness-shire; it was written by someone called David to Fr Mark Dilworth OSB at Fort Augustus Abbey; the church at Stratherrick is The Immaculate Conception, which was built in 1859 and is currently, as at 2009, served from St Ninian's in Inverness, with an estimated Catholic population of 55. |
